How does the SD card version compare with the standard microRecorder?
The microRecorder SD is identical as the standard version, but with the addition
of a SD card holder.
What happens on startup?
The processor looks for a SD card. If it does not find one, the green LED will
flash rapidly for several seconds. It uses any copy of the found of EWUSER.txt
in the root of the card, otherwise the copy in the main memory is used. The
unit then runs in same way as the standard version
What happens on shutdown?
The file is saved as normal and the security code is added. If a SD card is
present, the microRecorder then checks the EWUSER.txt, and copies either the
last file or all the files to the root of the SD card, depending on the option
checked in the EWUSER.txt. Remember not to remove the SD card before the LEDs
are off, otherwise the files will not be copied.
How do I put declarations into the microRecorder?
Declarations are contained in the EWUSER.txt. This can either be changed by
writing a text file to the microRecorder over the usb, using a plain text editor
such as notepad, or by using a software package such as SeeYou. The latest copy
of SeeYou will put a declaration onto the first copy of EWUSER.txt found in
a root directory. This means that to put it onto the SD card, plug it in to
your computer and ensure that the microRecorder is not connected to your computer.

Can I use any SD card?
In principle yes. However, SD cards do vary, and we only test the cards we supply,
so it up to the user to ensure that there is compatibility.
How many flights can be recorded?
The SD cards we supply have 512 mBytes of memory, which is enough to store over
2000 hours of recording.
